The JHS is a high pressure set production packer. It is ideally suited for well completions where it is desired to set the packer after thewell has been flanged up, as well as for deviated holes, Gas lift installation and other completions where a mechanical set packer is not suitable.
The JHS is ideal for setting in stacked installations because the built in zone activated pressure balanced system offsets Pressure differentials across the packer. By adjusting the setting shear values, the JHS can be used on multi- packer single string completions where it is desirable to selectively set and test each packer individually.
All parts are positively locked to prevent presetting of the packer due to pressure buildup or
debris while going in hole.
No tubing manipulation required to set packer.
Straight pull release.
Balance system offset pressure reversals.
All components locked to prevent pre-setting.
Release shear pins not affected by differential pressure.
