The Expendable Seating Sub is designed to temporarily plug the tubing below a hydraulic packer by dropping a ball down the tubing into a seat. The seat is designed to shear out at a given pressure, depending on the number of Shear pins used. Our Model BXP has pin connection at the bottom to hold a tail pipe or any other tubular tool below the seating sub.
