Hydraulic actuated chokes
The hydraulic actuated well control (drilling) choke is typically used in onshore and offshore choke manifold. Its function in manifold is control the pressure during drilling and kick (blowout). JVS provide gate and seat type well control choke with below specifications and options.
- Well control (drilling) choke in full compliance of API 16C
- Standard end connection from 2-1/16” to 4-1/16”, pressure rating from 5000 psi to 15000 psi according to API 6A
- Other end connection available on request
- Optional ring groove cladding of Alloy 625
- Gate, seat and wear sleeve made from solid tungsten carbide
- Standard orifice size is 2” (128/64”)
- Linear double acting piston type hydraulic actuator
- Choke position sensor available in both options, pneumatic and digital
- All material in compliance for sour service as per NACE MR0175
